WA:Shark victim service tomorrow
A commemorative service will be held tomorrow for 31-year-old NICHOLAS EDWARDS .. after
his death following a shark attack near Gracetown in Western Australia's south-west.
The father of two was on his surfboard on Tuesday morning at South Point .. about 270
kilometres south of Perth .. when he was attacked.
Despite desperate efforts by fellow surfers and ambulance officers to keep him alive
.. he died after suffering a severe bite to his right leg.
Mr EDWARDS .. of Busselton, about 50 kilometres from Gracetown .. was trying to get
in one last surf before returning to his job as a miner in the WA Goldfields.
