Fed: Tourism rising in the leadup to the Olympics survey

BRISBANE, Feb 28 AAP - The Sydney Olympics, a strong world and domestic economy and
income tax cuts should spark a significantly stronger tourism performance in the six months
to September, a new survey says.

However, the latest American Express Tourism Leading Indicators survey also claimed
the bogey for the sector remains the GST and fear that its introduction will lead to a
protracted rise in inflation.
