NSW: Fisherman still missing north of Newcastle
Police say a fisherman swept off rocks north of Newcastle remains missing despite threedays of searching.
There's been no sign of the 34-year-old man from Fairfield in Sydney's south-west,who disappeared about 10am (AEST) on Sunday when a 2.5 metre swell pushed him off a ledgeat Mooney Point in Catherine Hill Bay.
Newcastle water police have continued their search today with boats and a helicopter.
A police spokesman says bad weather has prevented the use of police divers who'll becalled in on Thursday if choppy seas subside.
